Tim Lugg served as the Grace Academy administrator from 1998 to 2022. He originally came to teach at the school in 1982, but quickly moved into administration and teaching. After several years, he served full-time on the church staff, and was briefly the interim pastor after the previous pastor, Tim’s father-in-law, passed away. He moved from the church to the school after 10 years of serving exclusively in the church. For the last 22 years while leading the school, he also has provided direction for the GraceLife adult class and has served as an elder.

 

Tim earned his M.A. in New Testament in 1984, and his M.Div. in 1999. Tim and his wife Renee, moved to Marysville in1982 and raised their five children while living in Lake Stevens, Washington. Charissa (Randy), Micah (Audrey), Ian (Kim), Nathaniel (Annalise), and Josiah (Naomi) are all married and live in the area except Micah who lives in in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and serves as the teaching pastor of Foothill Bible Church in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Tim and Renee have 15 grandchildren with more on the way.
