John Zimmer is the Pastor-Teacher at Grace Bible Church. John previously ministered for thirteen years in facilities management and as an associate pastor at Grace Community Church in Panorama City. During his years with John MacArthur, he served as the Pre-Marital Pastor and Pastor to young married couples, in addition to ministering with family ministries and pastoral care.

 

John studied at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, with an emphasis in music performance and conducting. John is a graduate of Miami Christian College, in Opa Locka, FL, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Bible. John is also a graduate of The Master’s Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree and was sent out in 1993 by the elders of Grace Community to be the Pastor-Teacher of Grace Bible Church of Marysville Washington. John and his wife, Helen, have 4 grown children: Sarah, Susi, David, and Stephanie, with eight grandchildren.

 

The emphasis of John’s preaching ministry is the expository preaching and teaching of God’s Word through verse-by-verse exposition of the text.
